The Importance of Character Education For Students

Character education is something that is important to the education of a nation. Berkarakterlah nation that is able to compete at the global level. If we look at the reality of the character education in this nation, then the question is Have our nation has the necessary robustness of character? How important is the role of character education for a nation? The following article will discuss about the importance of character education on the one hand and on the other how to benefit in national life.
The character is a dynamic organization on the individual place psikofisikal system determines a unique adjustment to the environment (Fatchul Mu'in: 162). So the character is a way of thinking and behaving that characterizes each individual to live and work, both within the family, community, nation and state. Individuals of good character is an individual who can make decisions and be ready to account for any consequences of decisions he made. Formation of character is one of the national education goals. Article I of the National Education Law of 2003 states that among the goals of national education is to develop the potential of learners to have intelligence, personality and noble character.
Character education is a plus character education, namely that involves aspects of knowledge (cognitive), feeling (feeling), and action (action). Without these three aspects, it will not be effective character education (Azzet, 2011:27). With character education that is applied in a systematic and sustainable, a child will be emotionally intelligent. Provision of emotional intelligence is important in preparing children to meet the future, because one would be easier and successful life facing all kinds of challenges, including the challenge to succeed academically.
Psychologically and sociologically, in man there are some elements that can shape a person's character. These elements are sometimes also shows how a person's character. Elements, among others, attitudes, emotions, will, beliefs, and habits (Fatchul Mu'in, 2011:162). The first is the attitude (attitude), the attitude of a person usually is a part of his character, even regarded as a reflection of the person's character. One's attitude in the face of something that happened, usually showing how his character. But not one hundred percent attitude shown is his character, but there is the possibility of other causes that drive to show his attitude.
Both emotions (emotion), emotion synonymous with strong feelings. Emotion is a dynamic phenomenon in humans perceived the situation, which is accompanied by its effect on consciousness, behavior, and is also a physiological process. For example, when we respond to something that involves emotions, we realize and know the meaning of what had just happened and face (consciousness), we respond to what happens with furious pounding tension kemudai janjung (physiological). The willingness is a condition that closely reflects the person's character. There are people who have a strong desire to beat the habit. Conception of ourselves is how we have to build ourselves, what we want from, and how we put ourselves in life. In life instead of just saying let flow, there was what happened ignorant yourself.
The fifth element of the character that needs to be developed. However, we must keep hold of the concept that education as an agent of change to be able to change the character of students who are less well be a good character, and develop a noble character to character more multiply again.
Indonesia Heritage Poundation (in the commentary Ahmad, 2011:42) there are at least nine formulate pillars of character that comes from universal noble values, namely: (1) the character of the love of God and all His creation, (2) self-reliance and responsibility, (3 ) honesty / trust, diplomatically, (4) respect and courtesy; (5) generous, like mutual assistance and mutual cooperation / collaboration, (6) self-confident and hardworking; (7) leadership and justice; (8) good and humble, and (9) the character of tolerance, peace, and unity.
The nine pillars of character, taught systematically in holistic education model using the method of knowing the good, feeling the good, and the good acting. Knowing the good can easily be taught because knowledge is cognitive. After knowing the good feeling had grown loving the good, ie, how to feel and be loved virtue engine that could make people always want to do something good. So growing awareness that, people want to do good behavior because he's in love with virtue behavior. Once accustomed to do good, the good acting then it turned into a habit.
Where does it begin character education? Basic education is character, should be started and implemented at an early age or commonly referred to psychologists as the golden age (golden age), because it proved decisive age children's ability to develop its potential. Character education should start from within the family, which is the first environment for the growth of children's character. But for some families, perhaps a systematic process of character education in the very difficult, especially for some older people who are stuck on a solid routine. Therefore, character education should also be given when the children enter the school environment, especially since the play groups and kindergartens. This is where the role of the teacher, which in Javanese philosophy called digugu lan imitated, at stake. Because the teacher is spearheading in class, who deal directly with students.
Even more important is the development of character education teacher character. Teachers as the spearhead of the bulding character has an important role. Penyalah Gunaan Teknologi Infomasi Di Masyarakat

Akhir-akhir ini rame tentang penyalahgunaan aplikasi IT, seperti misalnya banyak beredarnya foto-foto dan video porno di internet, penyalahgunaan facebook, pembobolan ATM, dan seterusnya. Kalau sudah begini, semua orang pasti bisa mengaksesnya mulai dari anak dibawah umur sampai yang sudah aki aki pun pasti bisa bagaimana hayooooo,,,,,,,,, :D 

Hadoh............... Nampaknya persiapan ketahanan atau pemahaman masyarakat tentang manfaat IT kalah cepat dengan penyalahgunaannya. Jadinya bukannya memajukan moral bangsa, malah membobrokkan moral bangsa,,,,,,,,HEHEHEHE,,,,,,,

 Terus menurut kalian semua solusinya gimana nie gan,,,,, ?????
 Dan siapa nie yang perlu disalahkan dalam hal ini,,,,,??? 

Kalau menurut ane nie gan, solusinya ya,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,emmmm,,,,,,,,,berawal dari diri sendiri dulu, maksudnya kita itu juga harus sadar dalam hal pengunaan tenologi informasi, dengan cara mengunakan teknologi informasi untuk kepentingan yang positiv saja, contohnya mencari tugas kuliah, berita terkini dll. jangan deh kalo buat buka situs yang berbau porno gitu. SARUUUUU,,,,,,,,,,,,,. terus buat pemerintah, mending situs-situs yang berbau porno itu mending tidak dibiarkan bebas berkeliaran di internet gitu. tapi kalo bisa sih,,,,,,,,,,mending DIHILANGKAN,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,HEHEHE :D

FARMASI UMM My KAMPUS

VISI, MISI DAN TUJUAN PROGRAM STUDI FARMASI

Visi :
Menjadi Program Studi Farmasi terkemuka dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan tinggi kefarmasian yang berkeunggulan di bidang farmasi komunitas berbasis klinis pada pengembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) dan nilai-nilai Islam berwawasan global.


Misi :

  1. Menyelenggarakan pendidikan akademik, penelitian, serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berkualitas dalam bidang farmasi.
  2. Menyelenggarakan pengelolaan pendidikan yang amanah untuk meningkatkan suasana akademik sehingga dapat mengembangkan kemampuan, ketrampilan dan sikap belajar sepanjang hayat.
  3. Menyelenggarakan pembinaan civitas akademika dalam kehidupan islami sehingga mampu beruswah hasanah dalam konteks kefarmasian.
  4. Menyelenggarakan kerjasama untuk meningkatkan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kefarmasian dan kelembagaan dengan berbagai pihak.

Tujuan :

  1. Menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki pengetahuan, ketrampilan, sikap, perilaku ilmiah dan islami, serta memiliki keunggulan dalam bidang farmasi komunitas berbasis klinis.
  2. Menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi yang relevan di bidangnya dan memiliki peluang yang lebih baik untuk bersaing dalam memperoleh pekerjaan di pasar kerja baik nasional maupun global.
  3. Menghasilkan peneliti inovatif yang mencerminkan pemikiran analitis dan kritis yang mampu memecahkan masalah kefarmasian.
  4. Menghasilkan pengabdi kepada masyarakat yang memiliki kemampuan sebagai farmasis yang responsif memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat.


HUBUNGAN ERAT LINGKUNGAN dan KESEHATAN

Kita hidup dalam zaman dimana lingkungan dan kesehatan telah dilingkupi oleh pengaruh bahan kimia yang sangat besar. Walaupun pada dasarnya teknologi telah memberikan sumbangsih yang besar bagi perkembangan ekonomi dan sosial manusia, namun manusia juga harus membayar pengorbanan yang sangat besar dalam bentuk kerusakan bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan.
Lingkungan dan kesehatan sudah sepantasnya menjadi sorotan utama dalam berbagai pengembangan sosial yang dilakukan oleh kalangan masyarakat. Karena terkadang manusia melakukan eksploitasi besar-besaran terhadap hasil alam tanpa memperdulikan keadaan kedua hal ini. Padahal kerusakan bagi lingkungan akan memberikan dampak buruk tersendiri bagi manusia berupa banyaknya masalah kesehatan yang muncul.
Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh karena lingkungan sangat besar peranannya bagi kesehatan manusia. Lingkungan menyediakan berbagai hal yang harus dimiliki manusia dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya. Mulai dari air yang diminum setiap hari, berbagai produk konsumsi yang dimakan oleh manusia, hingga udara yang dihirup, merupakan satu kesatuan lingkungan yang tidak terpisahkan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan dan kesehatan merupakan dua hal yang saling berhubungan erat dan saling berkaitan.
Ketika manusia memberikan perlakuan yang baik terhadap lingkungannya, berarti ia juga turut memberikan sumbangsih yang baik bagi kesehatan masyarakat. Perlakuan yang baik terhadap lingkungan ini dapat dilakukan mulai dari menjaga lingkungan di sekitar tempat tinggal kita, yang akan memberikan dampak langsung terhadap perbaikan kesehatan kita sendiri. Ini juga menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan dan kesehatan merupakan dua hal yang harus selalu diperhatikan.
Ketika manusia memperhatikan kelestarian lingkungan dan kesehatannya, ia juga sebenarnya turut berperan penting dalam perbaikan keadaan masyarakatnya. Masyarakat berbudaya tinggi selalu identik dengan lingkungan dan kesehatan yang baik. Ini terlihat dari bangsa-bangsa Eropa yang memiliki tingkat kesehatan dan harapan hidup yang lebih tinggi dari negara-negara dunia ketiga karena mereka memiliki keadaan lingkungan yang jaugh lebih baik.
Secara singkat, jika kita mau dan berniat melakukan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan, maka tindakan tersebut merupakan langkah yang paling baik dalam meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan kita sendiri. Karena telah jelas bahwa lingkungan dan kesehatan merupakan dua sisi koin yang tidak bisa terpisahkan satu dengan yang lainnya.
